    Location

    Ile St Louis is one of the most enchanting places to stay in Paris and Parisbynumbers can tell you now that as soon as you arrive you will find it hard to resist staying local for the duration of your visit and living side by side with the 3,000 or so inhabitants of this unique island on the Seine. The island has a village feel about it and is delightfully unspoilt with it’s mixture of handsome 17th century architecture, narrow streets and magnificent views from its tree-lined quays and berges (banks) where you can picnic and watch the boats go by.

    Running lengthwise along the island is it’s main street, rue Saint Louis en l’Ile. It boasts a baroque church, refined boutiques and gift shops, old-fashioned bistros and brasseries, chocolate, icecream, gourmet food and wine shops, a florist, bakeries, two amazing cheese shops and many little “salons de thés”. But of course here you are also at the geographical centre of Paris and from the island can walk, cycle the Velib, ride the Metro or hop on and off the Batobus on the Seine to reach all the city's landmarks.

    Begin your sightseeing with Notre Dame (Ile de la Cité is linked to Ile St Louis by pedestrian bridge) and your shopping with rue de Rivoli, both of which are just a 10 minute walk away. Walk for a little longer and you will reach Saint Chapelle, Bastille, the Pompidou Centre , the Louvre and the Tuileries Gardens. For night life just pop across the bridges from the island to the the Latin Quarter (south) and the Marais (north).

    RER B will take you direct from CDG and Orly airports to Notre Dame-Saint Michel and the island is serviced by three Metro stations: Pont Marie (line 7), St Paul (line 1) and Cité (line 4).

    Building/Access

    The apartment is located on the sixth and top floor of a building of good standing, secured by intercom access. Totally renovated and redecorated, this petite Parisian retreat will satisfy those looking for light, tranquility and authenticity and the incredible view over the Seine makes the stairs worth the climb!

    Accommodation

    The main room is furnished with a large, comfortable double bed, a dining table and chairs and a closet that should be big enough to store your luggage and your shopping. A single sofa bed gives you an extra adult or child bed space and the bathroom has a good sized walk in shower. The kitchen is separate and has everything you might need to rustle up a croque monsieur.

    In conclusion, a great location, a great view and a fair price inclusive of daily, stair-climbing exercise!

Please note that your arrival date can be a red day immediately preceding green days and likewise, your departure date can be a red day immediately after green days. To allow time for cleaning and preparation of the apartment before your arrival and after your departure, this may mean a check-in after 2pm and/or a check-out before 10am.

Minimum stay 3 nights - Send an Enquiry/Booking Request

We only accept bookings for less than 5 nights if they are "last minute" bookings (where the arrival date is within 15 days of when the booking is made) or if the booking period fits well in the apartment's availability calendar (+/- 2 nights of an existing booking).

For most of our apartments, if your proposed rental period is a minimum of 5 nights and a maximum of 1 month, you can confirm a booking by paying the requested booking deposit directly through our website without having to submit an enquiry/booking request. When you select one of these apartments and dates that are available, you will be offered the option of booking directly online and you can then fill in your personal details and continue to your dedicated customer space to pay the deposit and confirm your reservation.
